Lazy Parents
The school provides a car park for parents; there is legal parking on adjacent roads if one is prepared to walk 50 yards or so; yet some parents treat the yellow warning zig zag lines, which remind them that stopping is illegal, as a useful indicator of where they can park on the pavement while they drop their children off.

KY51 DWD 2012-03-22 08:32. End of term now, so no more miscreants for a while. The local council is deploying one of those mobile CCTV vans, specifically targeting parking outside schools. We’ll see what sort of deterrent that provides.
